Your Father Knows

Greetings to all; as we end this week, let us not leave without feeling good about our accomplishments and lives.

Even when we spend most of our time at work, school, or surrounded by others during the week, we can still feel lonely. Because we do our best to hide our vulnerability and weakness in our strengths, we cannot expect other people to affirm or build us up. Many times, others do not even know our deepest needs.

Matthew 6:6 (MSG)

6 "Here's what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won't be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace.

Lesson: While having others in our lives is good, we must learn to show up humbly and not think we must always look or be strong. Our Father is our protector because He knows the weight of our hurts and discomfort.
