Greetings to all; this weekend, let us strive to rest, rejoice, and keep praying.
God is in control, prayer works, and it changes things. For those who have fulfilled their work obligations outside or inside of the home and other responsibilities, do not allow the events of the past week to stop you from resting, rejoicing, and praying.
1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 (GW)
16 Always be joyful.
17 Never stop praying.
18 Whatever happens, give thanks because it is God's will in Christ Jesus that you do this.
Lesson: As followers of Christ, it is God's will that we have enough faith to focus on the good things in our lives and rest, rejoice, and continue to pray. God hears our prayers even if we cannot put it into words. Pray if we only have a whisper left.
