Greetings to all, this weekend, may God keep each of us peacefully and with His divine protection as we get some much-needed rest and sleep.
Each day we go about sowing good seeds, and after a long and tiring week, there's nothing like getting some peaceful and quiet rest and sleep. However, while we sleep or when we are least expecting, we must deal with the unexpected evil and deception from the enemy that slips in to destroy the good we've done.
Matthew 13:24–25 (NCV)
24 Then Jesus told them another story: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who planted good seed in his field.
25 That night, when everyone was asleep, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat and then left.
Lesson: While we should never sleep on God, we should be able to sleep in peace, knowing that our character and good works are safe and immune from others envying or trying to destroy them. Unfortunately, no matter how much good we do in this world, we must always be aware of evil and deception.
