Greetings to all, thank God that we have made it to this Friday morning. Let us thank Him for the grace to stand firm and strong no matter what has come our way. Amen
As God's children, we're blessed to be chosen to be living in such a unique and special time. Despite this, we must continue to keep our faith because where there is faith, there is victory.
We must keep praying, knowing that God is the author and the finisher of our faith, this world, and our lives.
The enemy would like nothing more for us to do but give up and give in with all that is going on. For his daily attempt is to steal, kill, and to destroy us (John 10:10).
Since our faith directs our lives, we must be determined to be victorious by keeping our faith stirred up.
Hebrews 12:1-2 (GW)
1 Since we are surrounded by so many examples {of faith}, we must get rid of everything that slows us down, especially sin that distracts us. We must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up.
2 We must focus on Jesus, the source, and goal of our faith. He saw the joy ahead of him, so he endured death on the cross and ignored the disgrace it brought him. Then he received the highest position in heaven, the one next to the throne of God.
1 John 5:4 (NLT2)
4 For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.
Lesson: We have never been promised an easy or comfortable life as children of God; however, we are encouraged to be faithful and obedient to the end.
