Greetings to all, this Monday, as we begin a new week, let us look to the power of Jesus for the help and great things we expect. Amen
Are you expecting God to do anything for you or through you this week? We must recognize that we are not entitled to anything, but as we serve the Lord, He has the power to do great things and to turn things around in our lives when we believe.
Hebrews 11:6 (TLB)
6 You can never please God without faith, without depending on him. Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God and that He rewards those who sincerely look for him.
Matthew 8:13 (MSG)
13 Then Jesus turned to the captain and said, "Go. What you believed could happen has happened." At that moment, his servant became well.
To receive the help of God, stop doing things our way, get out of the way and stop spending time seeking and searching for answers about matters of God. The answer, as it has always been, is in Jesus. We need the power of God, and we must not trust in our abilities, wealth, occupation, or positions. We must trust God.
Matthew 9:29b (NLT2)
29 "Because of your faith, it will happen."
Lesson: God can do the impossible. There is nothing too hard for Him. He's looking for our great faith to believe Him beyond the impossible. When we believe and trust God for great things to happen, what we expect to happen will happen.
