Greetings to all, thank God It's Friday, and let us thank Him for the way He has made for us to move through this week. Thank Him for the wisdom to live in harmony with all and the ability to keep our peace as we continue to grow and evolve spiritually by keeping our hearts and minds on Him. Amen
Often, we think that the world has everything we need in life, only to be regretful about the chances we didn't take because what we were looking for is not found in the world but within us.
Yes, in our immaturity, we may have made mistakes or missed some opportunities, but we must keep moving. Those mistakes can serve as evidence that we are trying.
2 Peter 3:17-18 (NCV)
17 Dear friends, since you already know about this, be careful. Do not let those evil people lead you away by the wrong they do. Be careful so you will not fall from your strong faith.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Glory be to him now and forever! Amen.
Some things that can hinder us from growing spiritually or evolving are not praying, not reading God's word, missed opportunities, negative people, and painful situations.
I read a quote from Tupac Shakur that said:
"You can spend minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months over-analyzing a situation; trying to put the pieces together, justifying what could've, would've happened... or you can just leave the pieces on the floor and move on."
Spiritual development and spiritual growth are beautiful things, but they do not happen overnight. As we end this week, let's let our next move be to move on to seek our spiritual evolution and spiritual growth by having a closer walk with God.
Lesson: Would you say that you are moving towards growth and evolution in your spiritual walk with God?
Please let us not focus on the things that may have caused us pain or stress. Our evolution and spiritual growth will come when we realize that we can choose not to focus on the bait of Satan to keep us stagnant in our Christian walk.
