Greetings to all, on this "grateful Thursday, let us rejoice in the fact that we serve a God who delights in giving us good things. Thank God that He doesn't always give us what we want but what He wants according to His will. Amen
God desires to do something good for each of us.
He only requires us to ask for what we want in Jesus's name. You've heard it said we have not because we ask not. Has there been a time when someone asked you if I can give you or do one thing for you? What will you want me to do for you?
Matthew 7:7 (MSG)
7 "Don't bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need.
Jesus asked the question, what do you want me to do for you on numerous occasions. He didn't ask questions because He doesn't know the answer. His questions were always for the well-being or the betterment of who He asks the question.
Mark 10:49,51 (MSG)
49 Jesus stopped in his tracks. "Call him over." They called him. "It's your lucky day! Get up! He's calling you to come!"
51 Jesus said, "What can I do for you?" The blind man said, "Rabbi, I want to see."
Matthew 20:32-33 (MSG)
32 Jesus stopped and called over, "What do you want from me?"
33 They said, "Master, we want our eyes opened. We want to see!"
Lesson: Both times, the Blind were not afraid to call out to Jesus, and they both knew what they wanted.
What is it that you want Jesus to do for you?
