Greetings to all; this Tuesday, may we not allow the weird little things we do and say to stop us from feeling normal and accepted.
It is a common desire for us to appear normal and hide our unique quirks and behaviors. The Lord has selected each of us to be his one-of-a-kind and distinctive group of individuals. We all have some weird things we have done since childhood. But for fear of being judged or misunderstood, we often hide them to fit in. At the same time, these strange things we do may be shared by others.
.
Deuteronomy 14:2 (KJV)
2 For thou art a holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations upon the earth.
Lesson: It can be easy to compare ourselves to others and worry about living up to society's established norms. "Don't ever be ashamed of loving the strange things that make
your weird little heart happy." - Elizabeth Gilbert
