Greetings to all, let us thank God for another weekend. May He continue to strengthen us and keep us on the path of righteousness. Let us choose to sow good seeds and spiritually grow as we walk the path of righteousness. Amen
In this life, there will be times when we will want different things. However, when we allow our way of thinking to be focused only on our efforts and their outcome and not on the fact that the increase comes from God, It can make us feel that our lives are unjust and unfair.
Whether we know it or not, we sow seeds in the world and others every day. We must recognize and accept the truth that what we do daily and how we think and live daily maps out and chart the path of our gain and increase.
While men look at the outcome or end-result of our success or achievements, God will always judge us by our way of life and the actions that we put into it
.
Galatians 6:7-8 (NLT2)
7 Don't be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.
8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
There is no going around it; we will reap a harvest from what we sow. It will either be a good or a bad harvest. We must be mindful and careful not to focus too much on receiving a harvest; instead, we must focus daily on not missing out on our opportunities to choose and sow good seeds.
Lesson: Because we live in a time where we expect instant gratification, we must believe in the process and not expect instant results for the efforts that we put in. We must be patient; God will take care of the harvest.
We must keep sowing good seeds because the results for the actions we put in today may not be plain to see right away but will be seen and multiplied in God's timing.
