Greetings to all, on this Tuesday, let us look through the lenses of the cross and see the good that today holds. And let us attempt to make an impact on those we encounter. Amen
Not every day will be a good day, but that doesn't mean we can't see some good in each of them. We must find the strength and the confidence to go on no matter how bad we think things are going for us or around us.
There will be those days when we will fall short, miss our target goals, and fail at some point. But, those times we fall short, miss our goals, and failures do not define who we are.
Psalm 73:26 (RSV)
26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Because our confidence and strength come from the Lord, we don't need to look to the left or the right to compare ourselves to others. What they are doing or not doing for God will be on them.
Psalm 31:23-24 (TLB)
23 Oh, love the Lord, all of you who are his people; for the Lord protects those who are loyal to him, but harshly punishes all who haughtily reject him.
24 So cheer up! Take courage if you are depending on the Lord.
Lesson: On any given day, everything BUT God can fail in our lives. Be encouraged! We serve an unfailing God, in whom we can put all our trust.
