Greetings to all, on this "grateful" Thursday, may we keep our thoughts on what is holy, and I pray that each of us experiences God's favor and blessings in our lives.
As hard as we try not to worry or give thought to the things we need or want, we tend to worry more than we want to about our everyday lives. Despite having Jesus in our lives, unfortunately, we still use other people's lives to measure what we have and where we are.
Philippians 4:6–7; 19 (GNB)
6 Don't worry about anything, but ask God for what you need in your prayers, always asking him with a thankful heart.
7 And God's peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus.
19 And with all his abundant wealth through Christ Jesus, my God will supply all your needs.
Lesson: No matter what we think we want or need, putting Christ first in our lives can assure us that we'll be in the right place and have all we need when we trust Him to provide us with everything we need.
