Wages Of Sin Is Death

Greetings to all, praise God for waking us up on this blessed Sunday. May the meditations of our hearts and the words of our mouths truly be acceptable in His sight. Amen

Life can often feel or even be complicated, especially when we're trying to live right. It seems like there are only rules of do's or don'ts, and they only seem to get harder and stricter when trying to live a Godly life. We must continue to do what's right!

Not one of us is immune to the grips of sin and must remain in the Word of God and keep our minds on what it says. We have an enemy who wants to steal, kill, and destroy us, but fear not, we serve the God who moved heaven and earth to save us.

We all have a choice that we must make. When life feels complicated and bombarded with, do's and don'ts, we must consider ourselves "dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus" and know who we are in Christ, Jesus.

We don't have to fall prey to sin like Cain. He didn't listen when God "tried to tell" him about sin crouching/waiting at his door and how it desired to control Him.

What is your mindset today?

We, too, must watch our mindset because sin is waiting at each of our doors as well!!!

Genesis 4:7 (TLB)

7 It can be bright with joy if you will do what you should! But if you refuse to obey, watch out. Sin is waiting to attack you, longing to destroy you. But you can conquer it!"

Romans 6:11-14 (NLT2)

11 So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.

12 Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires.

13 Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.

14 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God's grace.

Lesson: Before each of us, there is a wide and fun road that seems right but ends in death.

All who are willing to be corrected are on the pathway to life. Anyone refusing has lost their chance" (Proverbs 10:17; 14:12).
