Greetings to all, let us give God all the praise because we have made it to the end of another week. I pray that each of us is finishing strong and not being held captive to anything that has occurred. Amen
The Lord is worthy to be praised! However, so many times, we find ourselves in situations and circumstances intended to break us. I'm sure we all can agree that God has kept us no matter what has come up against us this week.
God never intended for us to be imprisoned or so bound that we lose our joy.
Mother Teresa once said: "Don't let nothing so sadden your heart that it takes away the joy of your heart."
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NLT2)
16 Always be joyful.
17 Never stop praying.
18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
Each of us has the same daily opportunity to pass the most powerful test as we interact with others. Each day we can show God's transforming grace and power at work in our lives no matter our situations or circumstances.
Acts 16:25-26 (NLT2)
25 Around midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening.
26 Suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off!
Lesson: As we move through life, we can hold on, knowing that God has the power to keep us.
"With God on our side, who can be against us (Romans 8:31)?
So, whatever we go through, we serve the God of the universe who is on our side and is worthy of our praise and worship.
He can, and He will do supernatural things to set us free!!!
