Greetings to all, let us start this day by walking in righteousness as we are given this new day for new opportunities, and let's ask God to help us not to fear but that we may rise above every situation that comes up against us. Amen
Everything is changing around us; the seasons change, our lives change, our circumstances, and our world. We live in times of transition and change with each passing day; no doubt, this year 2020 will be written in history as the year our world was turned upside down.
We are living our lives, much like the early church; our morals are being challenged on every turn. Because we live in an ever-changing world that has a habit of being turned upside down. We must learn how to be a change agent in this world without allowing this world to change us.
If we are going to live right in an upside-down world, we are told to live as God's people by keeping our minds on what is above (In heaven), not what is on the earth (Colossians 3:2).
We may live in an ever-changing world, but we serve an unchanging God. "He's the same yesterday, today, and forever." We must not become in-sensitive of the things going on in our world.
Although the world seems upside down, we don't have to accept it or respond to it! When the Apostle Paul spoke in Romans 12, he said then and now:
Romans 12:2 (GW)
2 Don't become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think. Then you will always be able to determine what God really wants—what is good, pleasing, and perfect.
Lesson: We will never have a perfect world until Jesus returns, but as long as we have breath in our bodies, we should try to live right and strive to make a difference in the world.
"If all your prayers were answered, would it change the world or just yours?"
