Greetings to all, as we start this new week, let us choose Joy by first speaking it into existence by faith, and then let us accept and receive what God has for us this week. Amen
Whenever things are going well for us, we feel happy and excited. It's not hard for us to feel down and out as we see and hear about the world's conditions. We don't have to look far because so many families are being affected by so much pain and grief every day.
No matter how challenging this week is, let's not allow any circumstances to take away our Joy, causing us to sink into depression and despair. Let us be reminded that the Joy of the Lord is our strength.
Psalm 121:1-2 (NKJV)
1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills--From whence comes my help?
2 My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.
Psalm 28:7 (NLT2)
7 The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with Joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT2)
" Don't be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!"
Lesson: Life is hard, but having a constant and unwavering relationship and living every day with Jesus will strengthen us and keep us healthy, balanced, and Joy-filled, no matter how challenging or easy our life's circumstances are.
