Greetings to all, this "hump" day Wednesday is the day the Lord has made. Let us continue to look to Him to hold us together and comfort us with gladness and His peace that surpasses our understanding during our time of need. Amen
With so much sickness, death, confusion, and distrust that we are facing, It can feel like everything is falling apart. By faith, let us ask the Lord to help us not lean to our understanding, but that we will acknowledge Him to direct our path in all things.
As God's people, we know that God has promised to have all things work for our good. We must love Him, allow Him to be the center of our lives, and release the burdens we carry to Him.
Christ is our sustainer, He is supreme, and He will hold our lives together.
Hebrews 1:3 (NCV)
3 The Son reflects the glory of God and shows exactly what God is like. He holds everything together with his powerful word. When the Son made people clean from their sins, he sat down at the right side of God, the Great One in heaven.
Colossians 1:17 (GW)
17 He existed before everything and holds everything together.
Lesson: Because Christ is the sustainer of all life, we can trust him to sustain us daily because, in Him, everything that concerns us is held together, protected, and prevented from falling apart.
