The Life of Decrease

Greetings to all. Nobody is perfect, but let it be a practical application for us as God's people to show more of Jesus and less of ourselves.

Upon accepting Christ, He resides in our hearts. We must strive to live humbly by decreasing in our ways and deepening our relationship with Him while guiding others to do the same. When we get it right, this decrease often means letting go of our natural inclinations and embracing the ways of Jesus.

John 3:30 (KJV 1900)

30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

Lesson: Our greatest lesson in humility is when we humbly decrease and allow Jesus to increase. In learning to decrease, we magnify the Lord. A humble, focused, and faithful servant finds joy in their service.
