Greetings to all; this Sunday, let us pause to treasure, honor, and relish our ability to be in God's presence.
There are times in our lives when we feel shame or that we are unworthy to be in the presence of God. However, we serve a God who desires to be in a relationship with us no matter what we've done.
Genesis 3:8 (MSG)
8 When they heard the sound of GOD strolling in the garden in the evening breeze, the Man and his Wife hid in the garden's trees, hid from GOD.
Like Adam and Eve did in the first most crucial fig leaves cover-up, the impact of our sins will make us try to hide. And just like them, we fail to realize that we are naked before God, and there is nothing we can hide or no place that we can go to hide from Him.
Lesson: Sin can bring misery, and attempting to hide our sins or wrongdoings can be exhausting and unnecessary.
