Greetings to all, thank God that we've made it to the beginning of this new week. Let us be on one accord as women of God and stand together in prayer for the strength to resist and to avoid any temptations or evil attacked this week. Amen
Some people will speak ill and will do all manner of evil against us, and their primary purpose is to do us harm. And when we know that, we will serve ourselves better by not allowing what they say or do cause us to be angry.
Ephesians 4:26-27 (HCSB)
26 Be angry and do not sin. Don't let the sun go down on your anger, 27 and don't give the Devil an opportunity. If we're going to live victoriously, we are encouraged to resist the enemy's attacks, who is at war with God. Such attacks are nothing but tests of our faith, and we don't have to open the door and give him access to our lives. Matthew 4:10-11 (TLB) 10 "Get out of here, Satan," Jesus told him. "The Scriptures say,' Worship only the Lord God. Obey only him.' " 11 Then Satan went away, and angels came and cared for Jesus. James 4:7-8 (MSG) 7 So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. 8 Say a quiet yes to God, and he'll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. Lesson: While we await the return of Christ, Satan is here now and doing his best to win over as many of God's people as he can.
We don't have to fear, and we can tell Satan that His access is denied in our lives because the word lets us know that we can resist the Devil with the Holy Spirit's power, and he will flee from us.
