Greetings to all; as we begin this new week, let us ask God for the strength not to stumble or fall.
As we stand firm and strive to live a life of faith, we will all likely stumble and fall as we make our way through life. The beauty of stumbling or falling is that God allows us to get back up. We may or may not find ourselves stumbling on our own. More importantly, God's word warns us not to cause others to stumble.
Mark 9:42 (ASV)
42 And whosoever shall cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it was better for him if a great millstone were hanged about his neck and cast into the sea.
Lesson: When not dealt with, sin can cause a Christian to stumble or fall on the way to living a life of holiness. We must protect ourselves from the spread of sin, live holy, look out for others, and discipline ourselves.
