Greetings to all; on this Sunday, as we seek to hear and receive the word of God, let us never think that we have had enough; let us stay hungry.
We know from God's word that heaven and earth will pass away, but God's words shall remain forever. However, we should not take for granted that we will be able to find it.
Amos 8:11 (NCV)
11 The Lord GOD says: "The days are coming when I will cause a time of hunger in the land. The people will not be hungry for bread or thirsty for water, but they will be hungry for words from the LORD.
Lesson: May we maintain an insatiable appetite for receiving the teachings of God's word. May we stay hungry and never be satisfied with just a taste of it, but instead, may our hunger for spiritual nourishment live on for it.
