Greetings to all, thank God that we have made it to another blessed weekend! I pray that things have gone well for each of us this far and that we continue trusting God's timing in our lives. Amen
Many of us spend a lot of time waiting for something. We are waiting for something to happen, something to change, or just waiting for our circumstances to get better.
In our waiting, we must continue to pray, stay focused, and not give up.
Many of us are on the verge of quitting something; we must always do our best and continue to be productive.
Let us stay focused and not give in to the distractions and discouragements that will come to make us give up.
Luke 17:1 (GW)
1 Jesus told his disciples, "Situations that cause people to lose their faith are certain to arise. But how horrible it will be for the person who causes someone to lose his faith!
Luke 18:1-5 (GW)
1 Jesus used this illustration with his disciples to show them that they need to pray all the time and never give up.
2 He said, "In a city, there was a judge who didn't fear God or respect people.
3 In that city, there was also a widow who kept coming to him and saying, 'Give me justice.'
4 "For a while the judge refused to do anything. But then he thought, 'This widow really annoys me. Although I don't fear God or respect people,
5 I'll have to give her justice. Otherwise, she'll keep coming to me until she wears me out.'"
Lesson: God takes pleasure in helping His people. As God's people, we can stay focused and not give up when we live by faith.
We must always keep our requests before God as we live for Him each day, believing he will answer.
