Greetings to all; on this “grateful” Thursday, remember to give back with gratitude when blessed.
We always can give, and sometimes we wish we could give to others. Not everyone who has more gives; some giving comes from those who have little but receive what is greater than wealth by giving a portion and, in some cases, all they have.
Luke 21:1–4 (NCV)
1 As Jesus looked up, he saw some wealthy people putting their gifts into the Temple money box.
2 Then, he saw a poor widow putting two small copper coins into the box.
3 He said, “This poor widow gave more than all those rich people.
4 They gave only what they did not need. This woman is very poor, but gave all she had to live on.”
Lesson: When we give unselfishly from the heart, it changes our standards of giving. We are, therefore, more likely to give generously.
