Greetings to all; as we seek to be in God’s presence this Sunday, let us be steadfast in our call of duty to be spiritually minded.
By nature, we are all born spiritually dead in a sin-filled world. As Christians, we must commit to being spiritually minded by reflecting on our faith, nurturing our relationship with God, and supporting one another in our faith journey.
Romans 8:6–8 (NIV84)
6 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace;
7 the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.
8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.
Lesson: Do not live with the sinful description of an unbeliever. As Christians, our thought life must be more about having spiritual minds than sinful ones. Fixing and keeping our thoughts on Spiritual things can be a matter of life and death.
