Spiritual Momentum

Greetings to all, on this "hump" day Wednesday, I trust that we are pursuing and making progress in life we can maintain.

While we are all striving to be successful and the best version of ourselves, there are times when we find ourselves stuck in our feelings or the opinions of others.

There is nothing more powerful that will set our lives in motion and empower us than the powerful and truthful word of God. To progress and become unstuck or gain the momentum needed to get us to a place of success or our best version, we will be wise not to make decisions solely on how we feel but by God and His words.

1 John 2:4-6 (NKJV)

4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this, we know that we are in Him.

6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

1 Peter 3:15 (MSG)

15 Through thick and thin, keep your hearts at attention, in adoration before Christ, your Master. Be ready to speak up and tell anyone who asks why you're living the way you are, always with the utmost courtesy.

Lesson: It's not enough for us to build up spiritual momentum only on uphill days, then lose it when our paths are smooth. We need to keep up the spiritual momentum and walk the believer's walk daily.
