Greetings to all; as we end this week, we can be sad, but God will comfort us.
We will experience sadness, sorrow, and grief in our everyday lives. We may expect comfort from others during these times only to find none. While we can sometimes need the comfort of others, the spiritual comfort that comes to all who are going through comes from God.
Isaiah 61:2 (GW)
2 He has sent me to announce the year of the LORD’s goodwill and the day of our God’s vengeance to comfort all who grieve.
Lesson: It seems impossible to be comforted in most crises. However, most of our joy comes from and through the pathway of suffering. When we trust God, He blesses our sorrows and turns them into joy.
