Greetings to all. This Sunday, may we hear a word of God that persuades us to live for Him.
It is good to know that we can speak words that are pleasing to God, effective, and make a difference in people’s lives. Despite some not believing or wanting to hear God’s words, we must continue to speak God’s words to encourage, not use them to control.
Ezekiel 2:6–7 (GW)
6 Son of man, don’t be afraid of them or what they say. Don’t be afraid, even though thorns and thistles surround you, and you live among scorpions. Don’t let the things they say frighten you. Don’t be terrified in their presence, even though they are rebellious.
7 Speak my words to them whether they listen or not because they are rebellious.
Lesson: It is a blessing to receive God’s word. We must have spiritual ears to hear what God is saying through His word. However, our perseverance in God’s word and faith are most needed in our moments of faithlessness.
