Greetings to all; as we approach the end of this week, let us continue expressing our gratitude.
Sometimes, we can expect something from others, feel unappreciated, and feel like good things never happen to us. Despite all those not-so-good feelings, God's word reminds us that while there can be various things and people we owe, there is one debt: love that we can never repay but owe to each other.
Romans 13:8 (GW)
8 Pay your debts as they come due. However, you can never finish paying the debt of love you owe each other. The one who loves another person has fulfilled Moses' Teachings.
Lesson: While finding ourselves in financial bondage can be a real problem, we can also find ourselves hopelessly in debt because of a lack of love for each other. Our challenge is to have continuous love.
"But if I have no expectations about someone, anything given is a blessing and not something owed." - John Bevere-
