Something From Nothing

Greetings to all, on this "grateful" Thursday, let us thank God for waking us up this morning. Let us take nothing for granted and expect to receive His many blessings.

As God's people, we can expect His blessings in our lives, but we must have the right perspective for us to see them. But you know how we are; at times, we think we are undeserving or unworthy because it doesn't look like God is doing anything. We tend to focus on what appears to be lacking and not see what God is working out in our lives.

Psalm 23:1 (NIV)

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not be in want.

The word lets us know we serve a God who created something out of nothing, and there is nothing too hard for Him. So, when it seems like there is a lack in our lives and there is no hope for our families, relationships, finances, and even our health, we should trust God to provide and do what He does best, create something out of nothing.

Genesis 1:1-2 (NLT2)

1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

2 The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

Lesson: There is no empty or dark situation that God can't create something very good. When we find ourselves feeling empty or in hard times, we need to keep trusting God, allowing Him to do His best work and bless us in unexpected ways.
