Seek God While He May Be Found

Greetings to all, on this Tuesday, may God bless each of us as we strive to grow closer to Him and give Him our best. Amen

No matter who we are or how old we are, God deserves our best, and we should make Him first and foremost in our lives.

2 Chronicles 34:1-3 (HCSB)

1 Josiah was eight years old when he became king and reigned 31 years in Jerusalem.

2 He did what was right in the LORD’s sight and walked in the ways of his ancestor David; he did not turn aside to the right or the left.

3 In the eighth year of his reign, while he was still a youth, Josiah began to seek the God of his ancestor David, and in the twelfth year, he began to cleanse Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, the Asherah poles, the carved images, and the cast images.

The Bible tells us to seek God first. But we only want to fit Him in our lives when we face a crisis. The other times we are making excuses and searching for things we believe are essential.

Isaiah 55:6-7 (HCSB)

6 Seek the LORD while He may be found; call to Him while He is near.

7 Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the LORD so that He may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will freely forgive.

Lesson: The longer we wait to seek God and to give Him our best, it may be more challenging or even too late. Seek God while He may be found.
