There is value in working hard. We naturally want to see quick progress and rapid success from our labor and deeds. Those who have reached a level of success will tell us that success does not happen overnight. Along with working hard, success comes through persistence, rejection, and setbacks.
Proverbs 14:23 (NCV)
23 Those who work hard make a profit, but those who only talk will be poor.
Lesson: We need not be concerned with what others have to say about our progress in life. The results of the hard work in the background that leads to our success are rarely seen on the surface by others.
