Greetings to all as we end this week. Despite any adversities, enemies, and foes we face. May we recognize our Rock, Fortress, and Deliverer.
At times, our world could stand to be more user-friendly. When facing adversities, enemies, and foes, we desire a place or someone to go to for safety, comfort, and help. Too often, God is not recognized for that role in our lives.
2 Samuel 22:1–3 (NIV)
1 David sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and the hand of Saul.
2 He said: “The LORD is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer;
3 my God is my Rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, refuge, and savior— from violent men, you save me.
Lesson: As believers, when facing adversities, enemies, and foes in our day-to-day lives, the Lord is our Rock, Fortress, and Deliverer, a place of safety.
Thank you for another great devotional!
