Greetings to all, on this "hump" day Wednesday, may each of us have the things we value and our hearts in the right place so that we are not led in the wrong direction.
What we value in life tends to determine the path or direction that we go in life. It's possible; there will be times in each of our lives when we must forget some things and what is behind us and follow God.
Matthew 6:21 (HCSB)
21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be.
Genesis 19:17 (HCSB)
17 As soon as the angels got them outside, one of them said, "Run for your lives! Don't look back and don't stop anywhere on the plain! Run to the mountains, or you will be swept away!"
Looking back can be dangerous and costly. The second shortest scripture in the Bible, Luke 17:32, warns us not to look back by reminding us of Lot's wife.
Lesson: To escape some situations to save our lives, God may instruct us to run for our lives. Let us learn from Lot's wife and not compromise by not following the instructions to run and not look back.
