Greetings to all; life and social events can cause a shift in how we worship, and going to church can look different. As we gather to worship this Sunday, let us remember to appreciate having a body of believers and the ability to worship in any setting.
Today's churches having issues and conflicts is nothing new. Despite Satan, the number one enemy of the church, coming up against the church, the church that Christ built will always stand.
Matthew 16:18 (NIV)
18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
Lesson: Understanding that the church is not ours, but Jesus's, because Jesus emphatically says, "my church." The church's foundation is rock solid. Let us do our best as bodies of believers to support and add value to the church by using our time, gifts, and talents for the church to help strengthen our families and communities.
