Righteous, No Not One

Greetings to all, let's choose to do all that we can on this Tuesday to do the things God loves. May the words each of us speak and the meditations of our hearts be acceptable in God's sight. Amen

Although we profess Christianity, we recognize that we live in an imperfect world and that not one of us is perfect beings, and we all have struggles. We need to stop expecting those around us to be perfect.

Romans 3:10 (NCV)

10 As the Scriptures say: "There is no one who always does what is right, not even one.

Romans 3:23-24 (NLT2)

23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard.

24 Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.

We have a sworn enemy, Satan, who wants to remind us that we are flawed and imperfect, so what does He do? He whispers daily to us, trying to tempt us to look back at our past mistakes.

Thank God that our heavenly Father does not expect us to be perfect. However, we must not allow Satan and others' foolishness, hate, or negativity to hinder us from being the best person we can be.

Lesson: Even as believers, we are not perfect, no not one, but we serve a perfect God we cannot fool.

Like David, we must ask God to search our hearts daily, and then we must strive to live out and speak from the good that lies within us.
