Greetings to all, let us thank God for allowing us to see another blessed Sunday and that we experience and enjoy His blessings and favor upon us today. Let us ask God to search our hearts and remove anything ungodly in us. Amen
We are living in some trying times. But these times are not as bad as it will get. We need a revival, and it should begin in each of us. God's word warns that there are some difficult times ahead.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 (HCSB)
1 But know this: Difficult times will come in the last days.
2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good,
4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people!
While this pandemic is extreme, horrifying, and appears to come out of nowhere. This pandemic and the divisive political atmosphere that we are experiencing is each proving to be a wake-up call for humanity to be more aware of our need for more of God's LOVE for each other.
If we had more of this love, we could live our individual lives and as a nation with the respect that we all have different opinions, but with an intentional devotion to racial togetherness and ethnic diversity in Christ's body.
Romans 12:1-5 (NLT2)
1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.
2 Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
3 Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don't think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.
4 Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function,
5 so it is with Christ's body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.
Lesson: Every Christian is a member of God's universal church. We ALL belong to Him.
As we offer our whole being to God, a change will happen in our hearts, from the inside out.
God is not concerned with filling empty churches; He wants to fill our hearts with love for Him and for each other.
Will You not revive us again so that as your people, we may rejoice in You? Show us Your faithful love, LORD, and give us Your salvation (Psalm 85:6-7). Amen
