Rest Time With Jesus

Greetings to all, on this Saturday, let us take advantage of some quiet time with the Lord so that we can get some rest. Amen

We all need some rest in our daily lives. Many people love being in silence, while others have a desire to be among the crowds. Whether it's physical or spiritual rest, we all need to step away or be still at some point to get some much-needed rest.

Mark 6:30-31 (TLB)

30 The apostles now returned to Jesus from their tour and told him all they had done and what they had said to the people they visited.

31 Then Jesus suggested, "Let's get away from the crowds for a while and rest." For so many people were coming and going that they scarcely had time to eat.

Psalm 46:10-11 (MSG)

10 "Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God,above politics, above everything."

Matthew 11:28-30 (TLB)

28 Come to me, and I will give you rest—all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke.

29 Wear my yoke—for it fits perfectly—and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls;

30 "for I give you only light burdens."

Lesson: There is peace, comfort, and rest in Jesus when we let go of our concerns. It's when we find a quiet place during our intimacy with Him that we truly find rest.
