Greetings to all; On this "hump" day, Wednesday, let us embrace the journey we are on. We may not be where we desire to be, but we should resist the temptation to follow the dead-end road of envy.
Life is a journey with many paths. Just as we must follow rules when driving or walking, there are principles to guide our lives. Scripture teaches us to live righteously and maintain hope by not envying sinners but fearing and respecting the Lord.
Proverbs 23:17 (GW)
17 Do not envy sinners in your heart. Instead, continue to fear the LORD.
18 There is indeed a future, and your hope will never be cut off.
Lesson: Although we may not be exactly where we want to be in our careers, relationships, or personal achievements, let us choose to rise above envy, stay the course, and focus on our hope and future by respecting the Lord.
