Renewed Strength Like An Eagle

Greetings to all, on this "hump" day Wednesday, let us thank God for the ability to spread our spiritual wings so that we can soar above the storms of life. Amen

God has not called us to be like chickens, but He has called us to be like eagles. Eagles are majestic, have excellent vision, and use the strong winds from the storms as opportunities to soar and to rise higher.

When faced with storms and obstacles in life, there are times when we may have our chicken moments when it feels like we have no options but to stay low, cluck, keep our heads down, and peck around with no hopes of ever-rising above our obstacles and circumstances.

Isaiah 40:31 (NCV)

31 But the people who trust the LORD will become strong again. They will rise up as an eagle in the sky; they will run and not need rest; they will walk and not become tired.

Psalm 40:1-3 (RSV)

1 I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry.

Lesson: There are benefits to waiting on God. When we wait and trust in the Lord, we have the power and potential within us not only to rise but to soar above any weakness, obstacles, or circumstances. But if we fall victim to our weakness, we only need to trust God and choose hope to become strong again.
