Rejection Leads To Redirection

Greetings to all; this weekend and in life, let us not allow the rejection of others to make us feel that we do not matter.

Each of us matters to Christ, and to God, Christ matters. However, to some people, we may not matter. Most of us have no doubt experienced rejection in one form or another. At the time of this rejection, it felt like the most painful or shameful thing you never want to experience again.

Matthew 21:42 (NCV)

42 Jesus told them, “Surely you have read this in the Scriptures: ‘The stone that the builders rejected became the cornerstone. The Lord did this, and it is wonderful to us.’

Lesson: We cannot force people to accept us or believe in God or the work He has for us. Be encouraged; if we do not allow bitterness to overtake us, God can use the rejections we experience to redirect us.
