Greetings to all; this weekend, let us not get in trouble with God by being rebellious when it comes to obeying His commands.
When we hear the word rebellion, we think of someone being disobedient. In life, we are told to respect those in authority. However, on those rare occasions, those in power expect us to do things that benefit their causes, not God's will.
Acts 5:29 (NCV)
29 Peter and the other apostles answered, "We must obey God, not human authority!
Lesson: There will be times when our obeying God may seem rebellious to man. Despite our internal temptations or external pressures, our desire must be to obey and follow God's will and not man's. When what others want us to do goes against God and our moral beliefs, we choose to do what is right in the sight of God.
