Promises, Promises!

Greetings to all, on this "grateful" Thursday, let us thank God for all the promises and blessings that He bestows upon us and for allowing us to make it this far. So many have not made it, but we are still here, still standing. Amen

It's so crucial that we continue to pray prayers of thanksgiving, grow spiritually, and remain faithful; this will remind us that God is Good all of the time and will allow us to thank Him when things are not so good.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (AMP)

18 Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this, is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].

2 Corinthians 1:20-22 (NCV)

20 The yes to all of God's promises is in Christ, and through Christ, we say yes to the glory of God.

21 Remember, God, is the One who makes you and us strong in Christ. God made us his chosen people.

22 He put his mark on us to show that we are his, and he put his Spirit in our hearts to be a guarantee for all he has promised.

Hebrews 10:35-36 (TLB)

35 Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward!

36 You need to keep on patiently doing God's will if you want him to do for you all that he has promised.

Lesson: There is so much power in promises, especially in God's promises. His promises in scripture are like His assurance and guarantee to provide for all of our needs.

Our prayer is how we can take possession of them, and there is no expiration on God's guarantee and His promises; they last forever!
