Greetings to all, let us thank God in our prayers on this "grateful" Thursday for who He is then for giving us all we have and all we need. May He continue to guide us in His truth and bless us with the wisdom and strength to make it through the week. Amen
We serve a God who delights in giving His children good gifts. The word tells us that we are to pray at all times, asking for what we need. As His children, at no time should we lose our discipline and commitment to pray and stand firm in the faith.
Despite the truth that prayer is powerful and makes anything possible! Too many times, we tend to find it easy to stop praying. We say that God is not listening to us, or our prayers are not being heard nor answered.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (MSG)
17 pray all the time;
Ephesians 6:18 (NLT2)
18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
Luke 11:9-10 (TLB)
9 And so it is with prayer—keep on asking, and you will keep on getting; keep on looking, and you will keep on finding; knock, and the door will be opened.
10 Everyone who asks, receives, all who seek, find; and the door is opened to everyone who knocks.
Lesson: Even when we don't see our prayers' manifestation, we must not give up. We are to pray cheerfully expectant; don't quit in hard times but pray all the harder (Romans 12:12).
We must remember prayer is not about getting what we want from God or changing God's mind.
