Greetings to all; on this "hump" day, Wednesday, let us strive to rise above and cut ties with everything weighing us down.
While life itself can be beautiful, because of the things we drag around that are weighing on us and holding us down, it can sometimes be hard to see all the beauty. So that we are not weighed down, we are responsible for being serious about our sins to live and see life's beauty.
Luke 21:34 (NIV)
34 "Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness, and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap.
Lesson: Because Christ carried our sins to the cross, we can escape, rise, persevere, and avoid burdens and traps easily weighing us down. As long as the world exists, no matter how challenging life gets, we have reason and the power to rise and live.
