Greetings to all; as we begin this week, may we find peace and strength in the power of our silence.
Not everybody will appreciate your silence. We can sometimes not appreciate or understand the power of our silence. However, some who know and love us can discern that we may or may not be okay when we are silent. Instead of judging or taking the silence of others personally, let us place them in God's care and pray for them.
Isaiah 30:15 (GW)
15 This is what the Almighty LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: You can be saved by returning to me. You can have rest. You can be strong by being quiet and by trusting me.
Lesson: In moments of silence, God gently reminds us that we do not need to do anything to influence Him or those we love. Sometimes, we do not need to utter a word to give God honor. Also, we can honor others by being quiet and listening to their needs.
