Peace of God

Greetings to all, let us thank God for a new Tuesday morning. I pray that when faced with chaos, each of us will seek to be at peace and have a calm heart as we allow God to use us to bring about peace even when we don't fully understand. May He grant us peace as we wait patiently for His plan. Amen

At some point in our lives, we will all face some unpleasant circumstances that will worsen and move us out of our level of comfort. We may be met with some of life's most significant decisions, have a tough conversation with our loved ones and friends, or unwanted test results from the doctor.

Our country, right now, is facing many challenges. During these divisive and troubling times, some are doing good things. However, many hearts are filled with hatred, chaos, and confusion.

And most are troubled because of a lack of inner peace. A peace that comes from being mentally and spiritually at peace and with enough knowledge and understanding to be strong in the face of division, strife, and anxiety.

Philippians 4:6-9 (NLT2)

6 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

7 Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

9 Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Luke 2:14 (NLT2)

14 "Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased."

Lesson: Being at peace is not the absence of having trouble in our lives. There will never be total peace until Jesus comes back.

Having a mindset of peace can help us find our strength and comfort; we need to deal with any confusion and anxiety.

The only way to have real peace; we must live a life with God's glory in view.

"Christ paid the price for sin and opened the way to peace with God. He offers us more than temporary political or physical changes—he offers us new hearts that will last for eternity."
