Greetings to all, as we begin this week, let us thank God in advance for the strength to endure and the ability to see His grace and mercy.
Many of us will face difficult situations and wonder how God could use them for our good. Be encouraged; many times, our pain has a lesson and a purpose, and God will use our pain to show us His love.
Philippians 1:29-30 (MSG)
29 There's far more to this life than trusting in Christ. There's also suffering for him. And the suffering is as much a gift as the trusting.
30 You're involved in the same kind of struggle you saw me go through, on which you are now getting an updated report in this letter.
Romans 5:3-5 (TLB)
3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us—they help us learn to be patient.
4 And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady.
5 Then, when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
Lesson: No matter how painful things get, when we allow God to finish what He has started or allowed in our lives, we will be able to see the purpose.
