Greetings to all, on this Sunday, let us honor God with a life of holiness; may we present and surrender our treasures, minds, and bodies to serve God's kingdom with joy and boldness. Amen
Our sacrificial worship has a cost! So that each of our worship will be genuinely acceptable, let us ask the Lord to forgive us for the things in our hearts and lives that don't bring Him or His kingdom glory; let us release them all so that we can be alert servants worthy to be used by Him.
Romans 12:1 (MSG)
1 So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.
Mark 12:41-42 (NLT2)
41 Jesus sat down near the collection box in the Temple and watched as the crowds dropped in their money. Many rich people put in large amounts.
42 Then a poor widow came and dropped in two small coins.
Lesson: The Master sees us and knows our hearts. He desires that our worship of Him mean something to us!
I will like to close with a reminder of what King David said: " I will not offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God which cost me nothing" (2 Samuel 24:24b, RSV).
