Greetings to all; this Sunday, let us praise and worship God, acknowledging He is all-powerful.
As followers of God, we are secure in our faith by His power. God uses many servants who are called by many names to spread His message of salvation. Many come and go through death or fall from grace. However, from the beginning of time and down through current difficult and evil times, the power of God can be seen through Jesus as our forever Priest.
Hebrews 7:23–25 (NCV)
23 When one of the other priests died, he could not continue being a priest. So, there were many priests.
24 But because Jesus lives forever, he will never stop serving as Priest.
25 So he can always save those who come to God through him because he always lives, asking God to help them.
Lesson: We never have to worry about losing our salvation because of the death or failures of any of God's servants. The assurance of our salvation comes from the fact that we are eternally protected through Jesus, our Forever Priest.
