Greetings to all. As we end the week this Friday, let us strive to maintain our peace.
The enemy’s aim is to stir up strife in a fragile and confusing environment. While remaining confident in ourselves, we must be discerning and use wisdom when dealing with those who speak foolishly. The last thing we want is to be called unwise. We are not required to know everything but should have the mindset to reason together.
Proverbs 26:4 (NCV)
4 Do not answer fools when they speak foolishly, or you will be just like them.
Lesson: Any of us can come off as foolish. When dealing with those with strong opinions about what they believe to be correct, it serves us better to exercise our wisdom by not answering. Like the African Proverbs says: “A wise man never knows all, only fools know everything.” - African Proverb.
